Formula 1 - Bahrain
Felipe Massa finally got his act together for the 3rd round of this year's championship, registering his first finish and winning the race comfortably from Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen.
Third place went to polesitter Robert Kubica who was followed home by Nick Heidfeld, the 2 BMW drivers putting McLaren well and truly in the shade, whose best effort was Heikki Kovalainen's 5th place while Lewis Hamilton finished outside of the points after hitting Fernando Alonso and having to stop to replace his front wing.
Felipe Massa now heads the rankings, moving ahead of Raikkonen, while Kubica and Heidfeld lay 3rd and 4th. After their great start to the season McLaren are clearly struggling with Kovalainen best placed in 5th, while Hamilton drops all the way down to 7th. Meanwhile Toyota seem to have stepped up their game which Jarno Trulli now ranked 6th.

GP2 Asia - Bahrain
Romain Grosjean took his second win of the season to wrap up the championship, while Sebastian Buemi followed in a distant 2nd with Kamui Kobayashi pisking up his first podium finish.
It is Buemi who continues to head the rankings, followed by Andy Soucek and Ben Hanley, each of whom have managed just one race finish this season. Grosjean now moves up to 4th, hampered by his inconsitency, although he is one of only 2 drivers to have finished all of the feature races this season.

WTCC - Mexico
As expected SEAT dominated and BMW struggled in the 2 races in Mexico.
The Spanish manufacturer won both races with Jordi Gene and Tiago Montiero, with 6 of the top 7 cars in the first race and making a clean sweeo of the top 6 spots in race 2. Rickard Rydell finished 2nd in both races while teammate Gabrielle Tarquini was 3rd in the second race. The only non-SEAT podium went to Chevrolet's Nicola Larini in the first race of the day.
It was a miserable weekend for BMW whose only points finisher was Andy Prialux who managed an 8th place finish in race 2.
Rydell now stands atop the rankings, followed by fellow SEAT drivers Tarquini and Yvan Muller, with Prialux the top BMW driver, in 4th place.

Reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi got his 2008 campaign off to a storming start by taking wins in the first 2 rounds of this year's championship, although his 6th place in the 3rd race of the day was a solid, if unspectacular result from 9th place on the reversed grid.
Pole sitter Matt Jackson fell somewhat foul of slippery conditions in race 1 but came home 2nd, which he followed up with 4th in race 2 and another 2nd place in race 3. Meanwhile last year's runner-up Jason Plato, had a relatively quiet start to his season with 2 third places in the first 2 races and 5th place in the last, at a circuit which was not best suited to his new, diesel-powered SEAT.
Gordon Shedden followed up 6th place in race 1 with a 2nd in race 2, but went off in the 3rd race of the day and failed to finish. His former teammate Matt Neal, is struggling to come to terms with his new Vauxhall, but managed a 3rd place in the day's final race which was won by Colin Turkington who had a disasterous first race which saw him finish 20th after a couple of excursions onto the grass. But a strong 2nd race of the day brought the BMW driver up to an 8th place finish, and the reversed grid brought him further to the front, enabling Turkington to take a win which will be some consolation to him at the end of a tough weekend.
The top 3 ranked drivers are the same as the top 3 finishers of the first race of the day, with Giovanardi leading Jackson and Plato.

Formula 1 - Malaysia
The second round of this year's championship saw the return of Ferrari to the top of the timing sheets after the disaster of Australia.
Kimi Raikkonen took a dominant win after his only real rival for the race win, team mate Felipe Massa spun out. Robert Kubica took the runner-up spot for BMW in another strong race for the German team. McLaren, on the other hand had a dissappointing weekend, off the pace in qualifying added to penalties for blocking had them starting in 8th and 9th, but Heikki Kovalainen came through to a 3rd spot which would have been Lewis Hamilton's, if not for a pit stop problem which saw him lose 10 seconds.
Having failed to finish first time out, Kimi Raikkonen's win here sends him to the top of the rankings, followed by Robert Kubica, who also registered his first finish of the season. Lewis Hamilton's 5th place sees him drop down to now rank 3rd.

GP2 Asia - Malaysia
The third round and mid-way point of the season, was a chaotic affair as the rain arrived with the race just having got underway.
Several drivers had their chance at the head of the field before further confusion arose as the track dried and those who were left changed to slicks in still slippery conditions.
In the end it was Vitaly Petrov who led the way home, followed by Fairus Fauzy and Jerome D-Ambrosio, while the pre-race favourites floundered.
Sebastian Buemi remains at the top of the rankings, having failed to finish, while Petrov moves up to 2nd courtesy of his race win, while behind him there is a three-way tie for 3rd, between Andy Soucek, Adrain Valles and Ben Hanley. The championship leader Romain Grosjean slips to 6th place in rankings.
